At the founding stage, it was considered one of the 10 sports channels produced by the «NTV-Plus» television company and the sixth high-definition channel from the same line. The channel broadcasts simultaneously in standard and high definition. Previously called «NTV-Plus SportHit» and «NTV-Plus Football 3». In the family of football channels, «Match! Football 3» is designed to expand the scope of live football broadcasts with matches from Serie A (Italian championship), Bundesliga (German championship) and Ligue 1 (French championship).
